Hi, I’m Matt Rush. I’m a student at UCLA taking up Marine Biology. I’ve always been interested in life under the sea. I’ve recently finished my Marine Biology Quarters, and I can say that it has encouraged me further to pursue my interest in the field. Growing up, I dreamed of being close to the marine animals and learning about their habits.
When I’m not in school, you can find me working at Trader Joe’s. Keeping a job where I can come during off days in school is convenient and so much helpful. On weekends and whenever I can, I volunteer at the animal shelter near my home. My passion lies in biology altogether, and spending time with the animals bring me closer to where I want to be when I finish my studies.
I advocate a healthier environment where both humans and animals can be free from all the harmful elements we have caused over time. I try to make everyone around me aware of the threat our careless acts impose on nature and our health. Having a blog is one way for me to showcase my concern for a better environment.
